Job Title: Sports Coach Location: Sheffield (S25) Salary: £110 per day Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Full-time Are you a passionate Sports Coach eager to inspire young people through physical activity? GSL Education are seeking motivated and dedicated Sports Coaches to work in a school setting in Sheffield (S25). As a Sports Coach, you will support students in developing physical skills, teamwork, confidence, and discipline while contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment. Main Responsibilities of a Sports Coach: Deliver engaging sports sessions and physical activities to students Support PE lessons and extracurricular sports activities Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive behaviour through sport Encourage student participation and engagement in physical activities Assist staff in maintaining a safe and structured learning environment Support students’ physical, social, and emotional development Help organise and set up equipment for sports activities Ensure health and safety procedures are followed during all activities Skills & Requirements: Experience in sports coaching, physical education, or working with young people A proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities A genuine passion for sport and youth development An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or completing a new application.
