Milton Keynes College Group is always looking for industry experts, subject specialists, and engineering enthusiasts to join our teams delivering Engineering qualifications to our 16-19-year-old students and apprentices.
No previous teaching experience? Don’t let this deter you. If you are passionate and have the capacity to become a great teacher, we can provide training to help you reach your potential, just as we expect you to support our students in achieving theirs.
If you have experience coaching or mentoring and an interest in Engineering topics, your skills could benefit areas such as progress reviews, setting targets, and supporting students in their learning journey.
Requirements range from ad-hoc sessions to full-time permanent roles.
We are seeking individuals to support both practical and theoretical elements of our students’ learning in areas such as:
* Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Principles, Materials, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Design Engineering, CAD (2D/3D), Additive Manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, Welding, Engineering Communications (up to Level 5), Engineering Science (up to Level 3), Engineering Maths, Further Maths, Electronics
Minimum requirement: You should hold an ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in an Engineering specialism.

The Innovation and Technology Centre houses engineering, construction, and apprenticeship programs. It features sector-leading resources and workshops using real industrial equipment, modern technology, and simulated environments to create an engaging learning and teaching environment. Recently renovated and extended with a multimillion-pound investment, the ITC building serves as a skills hub for our local community.
