Document Controller - Infrastructure / Major Projects

Our client is a leading infrastructure organisation looking to recruit a document controller to support a major UK project. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced document controller to join a structured, fast-paced project environment with an opportunity to progress your career.
Purpose of the Role
The document controller will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of project documentation, ensuring information is controlled, compliant, traceable, and accessible to project teams and stakeholders at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the receipt, registration, distribution, revision control, and archiving of project documentation using the Common Data Environment (ProjectWise, BIM360).
Maintain accurate document records, metadata, workflows, and approval status in line with project and company procedures.
Ensure documentation complies with client standards, CDE protocols, and information management requirements.
Support project teams with CDE usage, document processes, and preparation of deliverables, handover packs, and archives.
Liaise with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and client document control teams as the project document controller.The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working as a document controller or within a document control / project administration environment.
Strong experience with EDMS platforms such as ProjectWise, BIM360, or SharePoint.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of BS1192 / ISO 19650 standards.
Experience supporting BIM processes and Information Management Plans.
