Overview
Yorkshire Ambulance Service: Ancillary Services Team, is offering a shift of 10 hours per week for a Premise Cleaner at our Ripon Ambulance Station. Working days and times may vary to meet the needs of a 24/7 Emergency Service. Allocation of Bank Holiday shifts may be required.
Responsibilities
* Undertake cleaning, decontamination, and other associated tasks to meet high standards of cleanliness and Infection Prevention and Control measures across our stations and sites.
* Ensure activities are performed in line with Trust Cleaning Protocols, procedures, and specific daily work schedules.
* Achieve and maintain all required standards of cleanliness across the organization, including entrances, foyers, washrooms/toilets, kitchens, canteens/restaurants, gym, shower rooms, training rooms, corridors, stairs, lifts, offices, contact centres, storerooms, utilitarian areas, external areas and other related spaces.
* Maintain adequate stocks of cleaning materials and record daily activities; respond to urgent spillages and ad-hoc cleaning and deep cleaning as required.
* Utilise basic IT for emails and time sheets (full support provided).
Requirements / Qualifications
* Very basic Physical Capability Assessment (PCA) is mandatory prior to unconditional offer of employment.
* NCFE IPC Level 2.
* Proficiency in basic IT; ability to access and input information.

Location and Hours
Ripon Ambulance Station. 10 hours per week: Monday 4 hours; Wednesday and Friday 3 hours per shift, between 07:00 and 14:00. Fixed working hours are to be agreed. Working days and times depend on operational needs; and may include Bank Holidays.
Additional Information
Due to the 24/7 Emergency Service nature, ad-hoc changes in scheduled work or additional site support may be required with short notice. You should be able to work alone, plan essential tasks within limited time, and communicate effectively with senior staff.
