The Opportunity
A leading international law firm is seeking a newly qualified solicitor to join its respected Non‑Contentious Construction team in London. The team is recognised for advising major developers, investors, contractors, and financial institutions on significant UK and international development and infrastructure projects.
The Role
The successful candidate will work closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of construction matters, including:
* Drafting and negotiating building contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, and security documentation.
* Advising on procurement strategies and risk allocation for complex developments.
* Supporting clients on large‑scale commercial real estate, infrastructure, energy, and regeneration projects.
* Collaborating with colleagues across real estate, finance, and wider projects teams.
This position offers early exposure to high‑value work and excellent opportunities to develop technical and commercial skills.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
* Completed a construction seat (or another relevant commercial seat with a genuine interest in construction).
* Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
* A clear interest in non‑contentious construction and the real estate/infrastructure sectors.
* The ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
* Strong academics and excellent communication skills.
