Your mission is to connect, engage, and inspire our team members. You'll partner with various senior stakeholders to communicate effectively with large groups of colleagues. In this role, you'll explore exciting and innovative ways to inform our people, boost engagement, and inspire team member advocacy across multiple campaigns and projects. Some of the key activities for this role Drive and deliver creative and engaging communication campaigns that support our commercial strategic priorities and HR-led projects. Produce professional written, visual, and digital content across Boots and No7BC’s internal channels. Foster great conversations between leaders, managers, and colleagues through our core internal communication channels. Measure and report on the effectiveness of our communication activities and channels. Ensure the successful delivery of business-as-usual communications activities. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, actively developing them. Leverage your strong interpersonal skills, confidence, and emotional intelligence to collaborate effectively with peers, senior/external stakeholders, and influencers, maintaining a network across the organisation. You'll work closely with our Marketing, HR, and Studio and Content teams. Use your advanced planning and organisational skills to anticipate stakeholder needs, plan communications in advance, and always think one step ahead to achieve the best results. About you You have excellent writing and verbal skills and a strong command of the English language. You have a passion for storytelling, creative use of language, visuals, flair and tone of voice to create compelling content in engaging formats. You’re a newshound and love connecting with people on a personal level to unearth meaningful stories and content – and bring them to life in a considered, responsible way. You possess an aptitude for business thinking and can use data to demonstrate the value your internal communications campaigns add to the business. Creative and with an eye for design. You can create engaging content, and will turn your hand to creative platforms when required. Technically competent with an excellent working knowledge of social media and digital technology. You are resilient, mature, able to work quickly and stay calm under pressure, and to deadlines. You are a relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills – someone who works well with peers and with senior/external stakeholders. You are aware of the broader internal comms industry, you seek information and examples of what other companies IC teams are doing, and you know what internal communications best practice looks like. You use your planning and organisation skills to yield best results. You are curious and brave – you want to try new things. You naturally motivate colleagues and work well as part of a cross-functional team. You are a team player, open and transparent, and you thrive when you’re collaborating. But you are also self-sufficient and able to work independently – you can get the job done with minimal direction and supervision. You’re flexible and not fazed by having to respond quickly and professionally to unexpected tasks – which may include activities not part of your usual remit.
