Achieved by : Taking telephone bookings and answering queries. Pricing jobs and "up sell" work. Invoicing. Explaining the invoice to the customer. Moving cars. Washing and vacuuming cars. Issuing work to technicians and monitoring progress. Ensuring customers requests are actioned. Communicating effectively with customers via email, telephone and in person. Driving customers and fleet cars. Computer based administration tasks. Filing and scanning documents as required. NOTE: Workshops are dirty environments and applicants should be aware of this.
Additional responsibility
Assisting manager as required
Assisting technicians with some manual tasks ( such as wheel changing)
Deputising for manager in their absence.
Cashing up at end of day.
Opening up/ locking up dependent on staffing
Collection and delivery of customer cars. Driving licence essential.
Summary
As a Service Advisor, you will assist in delivering great customer service while assisting clients with their automotive needs. This role requires some mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with customers. A valid driving license is necessary, as you may need to test drive vehicles or assist customers in various capacities. Join our team and contribute to a high-quality service experience in a dynamic environment. Enthusiasm and ability to learn will rate higher than previous experience, as full training will be given.
Qualifications
* Good mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
* Excellent inter personal skills to effectively assist clients
* Computer literate, with ability to handle spreadsheets.
* Experience with cash handling and financial transactions helpful.
* Good writing skills, clear hand writing and spoken English.
* A full clean driving licence.
