Job Advertisement: Deputy Head Teacher
Who We Are: Are you an inspirational leader looking to develop further in school leadership? We are seeking a passionate colleague dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for our young people. Our small school, with 37 pupils across primary and secondary age ranges, is situated on two sites in Folkestone. The successful applicant will primarily teach at the secondary level but will spend time at both sites.
This role includes a 50% teaching commitment based on your specialism, to be discussed at the interview. Experience teaching both primary and secondary pupils, as well as children with Special Educational Needs, is advantageous. Our current cohort ranges from Year 3 to Year 11, with some following the National Curriculum and others on alternative pathways based on their learning needs
Our children come from diverse backgrounds and have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH), with many also having other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
We provide extensive therapeutic training and support as a trauma and attachment-informed organization.
