Hours: Full Time – Term Time Only- Temp to Perm (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) / Bank options also available
Pay: £89 – £100 per day (Teaching Assistant Level 2 Salary)

GSL Education are working with SEN Specialist schools across Leicester, supporting pupils with special educational and behavioural needs. We're hiring SEN Teaching Assistants / Support Workers to help create a nurturing and empowering learning environment for children and young people.

Your Role Will Include:
* Supporting students aged 5–16 with additional needs
* Providing tailored, 1:1 and group learning support
* Assisting with personal care (where required)
* Supporting the teacher with lesson delivery
* Encouraging emotional regulation and positive behaviour
* Promoting independence and social development
* Working alongside educational psychologists, social workers, and CAMHS professionals

✅ We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 6 months’ experience supporting children, young people or adults with additional needs (including personal/lived experience)
* Knowledge of needs including: Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, Anxiety, Self-Harm, Learning Disabilities, Attachment Disorders, LAC
* A calm, positive, and compassionate nature
* Resilience and a strong commitment to safeguarding
* An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
