A vacancy had arisen in the Mid Argyll, Kintyre and Islay area for a Traffic Development Officer working for Argyll and Bute, one of Scotland's most beautiful areas.

The Traffic Development Officer will represent the Service for development control, traffic management, road safety and assist in the management of the road network within the MAKI area. There are no line-management responsibilities attached to the post.
Experience of within a roads environment is essential to this role, this may include design, construction, maintenance or network management. Experience reviewing complex drawings and legislation is also essential.
