Procurement Assistant (graduate)

Following a tremendous period of growth, this brand-new role will sit nicely within operations and be pivotal to further expansion plans. Ensuring products move smoothly from Supplier to Warehouse to Customer, while maintaining the highest standards of quality & spend, your ability to organise and multi-task will be essential
Role responsibilities:
Forecasting & Operational Planning
● Analyse sales trends and coordinate stock forecasting.
● Identify future shortfalls or excess stock and adjust purchasing accordingly.
● Plan purchasing around lead times, cashflow, and product launch cycles.
Cashflow & Margin Awareness
● Understand the components of COGS (raw materials, packaging, freight, duties).
● Ensure purchasing aligns with budget and cashflow availability.
● Track landed costs and highlight margin risks.
Procurement & Supplier Management
● Raise and manage purchase orders.
● Track supplier lead times and confirm product specifications.
● Source and vet new suppliers (materials, packaging, manufacturers).
● Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and payment terms.
To be considered for this role you MUST:
● Be highly analytical
● Possess strong verbal & written communication skills
● Have excellent IT skills
