Are you passionate about beauty and get joy from making people feel and look good? We are looking for Retail Assistants (Summer hosts) to support our New Zealand stores during the lead up to one of the busiest times of the year.

Responsibilities
* Deliver an exceptional customer experience and create authentic connections with customers
* Play a key role in supporting the wider team with on-floor presence throughout holiday and ability to pivot (or pirouette as we like to say) as required
* Work effectively as part of the team to support running of the store in a safe, fun and efficient way
* Confidently and consistently deliver exceptional experiences for our customers
* Demonstrate strong product knowledge for MECCA’s hero brands and products
* Show an active commitment to continuous learning and improvement
* Work safely as part of the team to ensure the successful running of the store
* Always uphold the MECCA values
Employment details
As a Retail Assistant (Summer Host) we anticipate that we will be able to offer you shifts from late October 2025 to mid-February 2026. This may be subject to business operational needs and your availability.
You and the Company agree that your employment is subject to a 90 day trial period pursuant to the Employment Relations Act 2000 and commencing on your Employment Commencement date. During the 90 day trial period, the Company may dismiss you by giving one week’s written notice (or, at the Company’s sole discretion, make a payment in lieu of working the notice period). If employment is terminated pursuant to the 90 day trial period, you will not be entitled to bring a personal grievance or other legal proceedings in respect of your dismissal.
