We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Receptionist to join a well-established law firm based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with front-of-house or administrative experience looking to build a career within a professional services environment.

The Role

As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality front-of-house experience. Based on reception, you will ensure all clients and visitors receive a warm, professional welcome while supporting the wider team with administrative duties.

Key responsibilities include:

* Handling incoming calls and directing enquiries efficiently
* Managing meeting room bookings (internal and external)
* Preparing and resetting meeting rooms
* Coordinating travel requests including taxis and train tickets
* Supporting the facilities team when required
* Assisting with administrative tasks such as document preparation, conflict checks, and matter opening
* Compiling electronic bundles for legal use
* General office duties including scanning, copying, and filing

About You

* Highly organised, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
* Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (essential)
* Ideally, experience within a professional services environment
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality service
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
* A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
