Key Attributes:
* Degree/HND/HNC/NVQ qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
* 2+ years of industry experience in a similar Electrical Controls role (strong graduates may also be considered)
* Confident programming of control systems from scratch (Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff)
* Experience configuring Variable Speed Drives (ABB, Nidec, etc.)
* Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes
* Excellent communication skills
* Flexible to travel as needed as part of the role
* Full Driving Licence
Responsibilities:
* Program PLCs from scratch
* Develop HMI and SCADA applications
* Work closely with Electrical Design Engineers
* Take solutions from concept right through to commissioning
* Deliver projects on time and within budget
* Configure Variable Speed Drives
* Ensure company standards are always adhered to
* Travel to customer sites for commissioning activities
* Provide remote support for systems
* Create required documentation
