About the role
Our Capital Project Services (CPS) team comprises multi-disciplinary professionals with experience delivering capital projects across sectors including Defense, Transport, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Government & Healthcare, Energy, Utilities and Resources. We help clients secure optimum value from their projects and provide the expertise to navigate challenging, complex situations. This role designs and delivers transformative project and programme management approaches across a wide range of industries, working with senior leaders of major global businesses to optimise capital programmes and help deliver intended benefits, especially where budgets are constrained or situations are challenging.
What your days will look like
As a Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Responsibilities
* Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Directors and above
* Train and lead staff
* Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
* Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
* Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
* Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
* Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
This role is for you if

* You have exceptional technical aptitude and analytical skills, able to translate complex issues into clear client solutions
* You are passionate about capital projects delivery and eager to learn from colleagues and build collaborative relationships
* You have a strong academic and industry background and currently hold a senior position
* You are open to travel nationally and internationally
Your career to date should demonstrate:
* The ability to lead a team to deliver projects and solutions
* A track record in building trusted relationships with teams, clients and stakeholders and delivering outputs
* Experience in leading contract, supplier, or project management with understanding of core delivery principles
* Self-awareness and ambition to continuously develop skills
* Management consulting experience, including operating and delivery models
* Exposure to capital planning and/or asset management
* Digital transformation / technology consulting
* Commercial experience in supply chain management, procurement, or contract negotiations
