We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Assistant to join the Majestic Line team based in Oban.
This role plays a vital part in providing shore support to our fleet of four vessels and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. You will work hands-on across logistics, provisioning, guest changeovers, and operational planning to help maintain the high standards of quality, safety, and service that the Majestic Line is known for.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist with the loading, unloading and safe handling of supplies and equipment for all vessels
* Pack and prepare linen supplies ahead of departure day
* Manage uniform provisioning and coordinate with external laundrette suppliers
* Ensure timely delivery of stock from external suppliers, checking all orders for accuracy
* Drive company vehicles to transport provisions to and from vessels
* Assist in meeting and greeting guests on cruise departure days
* Ensure luggage is correctly allocated to the appropriate vessel
* Keep the depot clean, tidy and well-organised to support efficient operations
* Provide support to the General Manager with day-to-day logistics and operational planning

The ideal candidate will have:
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
* A positive, team-focused attitude
* A clean driving licence (essential)
* Experience in logistics, hospitality, or the cruising industry (desired, but not essential)
* Willingness to work weekends as part of the regular rota
