Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drainage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of drainage systems and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. Responsibilities
* Conduct site assessments to evaluate drainage needs and challenges.
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as required.
* Collaborate with other engineers and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
* Perform plumbing tasks related to drainage systems.
* Assemble components of drainage systems using mechanical knowledge.
* Carry out heavy lifting as necessary when installing or maintaining drainage infrastructure.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all tasks.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in drainage engineering or a related field is preferred.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
* Experience in carpentry is advantageous for constructing supports or frameworks.
* A valid commercial driving licence is beneficial for transporting equipment to job sites.
* Ability to perform assembly tasks efficiently and accurately.
