SEND Primary Teacher
Location: South Tyneside
Start: September 2025 (or sooner)
Salary: £130–£210 per day (depending on experience)
Are you a passionate and adaptable teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? This welcoming primary provision is seeking a committed SEND Teacher to join their team, supporting pupils across EYFS and KS1/KS2.
What you’ll be doing
* Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of pupils with SEND
* Creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment where every child can succeed
* Working closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic support
* Using adaptive strategies to support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning needs

What we’re looking for
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
* Experience working with primary-aged pupils with SEND is highly desirable
* A patient, flexible, and resilient approach to teaching
* The ability to inspire confidence, build trust, and adapt learning to suit individual needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
