A leading AJ100 architecture practice is looking for a part-time Studio Manager to oversee management of their studios.This broad role will require you to work in their London studio five days a week but over shorter hours (25 hours per week) so perfect for those who are looking for a role where they need to juggle other commitments too.This well-known practice values creativity, self-motivation, and the ability to work autonomously in a friendly and fair working environment.Reporting to the Chairperson, you will work closely with the directors and senior management team to ensure all the studios run smoothly.Responsibilities include: -Oversee facilities including managing the budget and preparing for auditsManage maintenance contracts including planned maintenance and ad hoc repairsMaintain fire and security and utilities contractsAssist with Health and SafetyCoordinate internal moves and relocationsOversee front of house and manage a team of 3Manage suppliersConduct workstation assessmentsCoordinate the business continuity planAssist with quality management systems, audits and proceduresOrganise and participate in the weekly staff meetingsOrganise senior management meetingsKey skills required: -Prior experience in a similar Studio Manager role within the built environment sectorExperience of overseeing facilities and front of houseExperience of Health and Safety in the workplaceGood working knowledge of MS Office and InDesignExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExceptional organisational skillsKnowledge and interest in the architectural sectorIf you are a Studio Manager looking for a part-time opportunity within architecture, please get in touch as this is a great role!
