Role Overview: Electrical Technician
Based at a state-of-the-art facility in the midlands this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Technician to support the ongoing performance, safety, and reliability of a high-output industrial site. You'll be responsible for the hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimisation of a range of plant electrical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain and fault-find on electrical plant systems, including HV/LV equipment, drives, and motors
2. Support preventative and reactive maintenance across the site
3. Respond to breakdowns, diagnose issues, and implement fixes efficiently
4. Work closely with engineers and site teams to ensure electrical compliance
5. Contribute to safe working practices
Requirements
6. Minimum 3 years' experience in an electrical maintenance role within power generation, heavy industry, or process plant environments
7. City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualified in Electrical Engineering
8. 18th Edition
9. Strong working knowledge of LV & HV systems
10. Comfortable working in a highly regulated, safety-first environment
11. Ability to prioritise, work independently, and contribute to a wider team
12. Full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship
