Area: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Rate: GBP140 – GBP220 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
About the School:
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are partnering with a fantastic specialist school in Leeds, supporting students aged 11-16 who have a range of complex learning needs, including autism and physical or sensory impairments. As a SEND Teacher, you’ll be joining a team of dedicated professionals who are focused on providing an environment where students can excel, regardless of their learning challenges.
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
· Deliver high-quality, tailored teaching to pupils primarily across KS2, KS3, and KS4.
· Plan and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones.
· Collaborate closely with the SENCO, support staff, and parents/carers to provide a consistent, holistic approach to education.
· Support the individual needs of students, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development.
What Were Looking For:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
· Experience teaching in an SEN setting (or strong SEN knowledge within a mainstream environment).
· A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to classroom management.
· Passion for inclusive education and a genuine commitment to helping every child make progress.
· Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs and deliver personalised learning experiences.
To be eligible, you must:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK.
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application.
· Provide two professional child-related references.
