Sittingbourne or Maidstone hybrid working Were looking for an individual with excellent attention to detail to join ourAssetCompliance teamas an Asset Compliance Data Officer to support the team with a wide variety of tasks and activities. In this role, you will ensure that data and documents from contractors are received promptly and accurately, and you will be responsible for cross-checking information to identify any gaps, updating and validating data interfaces, and performing necessary corrections. A key part of your work will involve reviewing large datasets to detect duplications and conflicts, as well as conducting data quality checks and updates in line with established procedures. You will carry out document audits and respond to queries related to the asbestos register. Maintaining and developing systems, databases, and spreadsheets will be part of your remit, alongside supporting the Compliance Manager in identifying areas for data quality improvement. Additionally, you will complete data cleansing activities and manage the team inbox, ensuring all correspondence (by phone, email, or in writing) is handled efficiently and courteously. Liaising with internal teams, external contractors, and residents will be a regular part of your responsibilities. This role is offered on Fixed Term Basis/Secondment until 31 March 2026. The role is based in our Sittingbourne office (with an option to work from our Maidstone office) and is offered on hybrid model of work after successful completion of induction training. What youll need: Experience in/understanding of working in an Asset Compliance environment Knowledge and understanding of asbestos surveys and/or data Experience of reviewing and analysing large data sets, including undertaking data quality checks and audits Experience of using multiple IT systems, databases, and Microsoft applications Experience of co-ordinating and collaborating with contractors, residents, and other teams Attention to detail, communication and effective time management skills In your supporting statement, it is important that you address how you meet each of the above six criteria providing real examples.
