Responsibilities
* Driving a 3.5‑tonne van to deliver a variety of products to customers’ doorsteps on‑time and in good condition.
* Completing checks to ensure the van is organized, clean, roadworthy and that delivery cases are secure before setting off.
* Serving customers with enthusiasm, answering questions and informing them of any delays.
* Learning to use new technology effectively and driving a large vehicle across residential streets and country lanes.
* Assisting in maintaining stockroom or shop floor operations when not on the road.
* Building deep knowledge of products, services and promotions to provide helpful recommendations.
* Maintaining a friendly, professional presence as the face of Argos when delivering to customers.
* Proficiently driving large vehicles in varied environments, including busy streets and narrow lanes, and delivering to a range of residential locations.
* Working efficiently in a fast‑paced, physical, high‑energy environment, using initiative to solve problems, often independently while also thriving in a team.
* Being flexible and productive across the store when needed, leveraging training to learn new skills.
* Embracing new digital tools and technology in the delivery process.
