Our mission is to deliver efficient, accurate, and scalable logistics services. We are currently looking for motivated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our dynamic team.Job Purpose As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the accurate and timely receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods on behalf of our clients.Key Responsibilities
* Receive, unload, and check deliveries against documentation
* Helping with physical duties in the Goods in section as required (some products can weigh up to 40kg and would require 2 person lifts)
* Accurately pick and pack orders in line with client and company standards
* Ensure goods are stored safely and efficiently in designated areas
* Load goods for dispatch, ensuring they are secure and labelled correctly
* Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners where required
* Carry out stock checks and report discrepancies
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
* Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
* Work as part of a team to meet productivity and service targets
Skills & Experience
* Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not essential
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physically fit and able to lift, move, and handle goods safely
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Flexible, reliable, and punctual
* Forklift licence (Counterbalance, Reach or Combi truck) is an advantage but not essential - these would influence a higher starting rate
Working Hours - 0830-1700 Monday to Friday - certain contracts may offer rotational shift patterns as an alternative optionHourly rate - £12.21 per hour (shift allowance applied for antisocial hours/ call-out)If you interested in discussing further, please click to apply!
