This Senior Town Planner role contributes to a high-quality, customer-focused planning service by managing a wide range of planning applications, providing professional advice, representing the Council in committees and appeals, and supporting sustainable growth across the city. The role involves giving pre-application guidance, contributing to policy and process improvements, handling planning enforcement matters, and working collaboratively with internal teams, elected members, residents, and external stakeholders to ensure effective, compliant and timely planning outcomes. Who are we looking for? We are looking for an experienced Town Planner who clearly demonstrates that they meet the criteria for the Senior Town Planner post.
