What you will do
We are recruiting a Trainee Field Service Technician to support the installation of our sensor technology. This is a field‑based role, primarily covering Birmingham and the South of the UK.
During your training period, you will be required to travel UK‑wide, including regular overnight stays away from home. You will work mainly on customer sites and must be flexible, as working hours include shift patterns with early morning and late finishes, depending on project requirements.
This role is ideal for someone who is practical, technically minded and keen to build a career in field services.

How you will do it
9. Assist with the installation and testing of sensor technology
10. Prepare and install hardware on customer sites
11. Review floor plans to determine equipment requirements
12. Maintain accurate Excel‑based installation records
13. Complete on‑site system testing
14. Document all work in line with company standards
What we are looking for
15. Full UK driving licence
16. Willingness to travel extensively and work away from home
17. Flexibility to work early and late shift patterns
18. Good IT skills, including use of Excel
19. Strong organisation and time management skills
20. Confident communicator with customers and colleagues
21. Physical ability to carry out installations, including working at height using ladders, bending and working under desks
