Now we’re looking for a General Managerwho can lead from the front, own the numbers, inspire the people, and make Rise the go-to training destination in Stevenage.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be visible, energetic and present.
You’ll own the performance of the club, develop your team, and create an experience members genuinely love coming back for.
What you’ll be getting up to:
* Own responsibility for everything important in club — commercial, operations, service, experience and team development
* Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing team offront-of-house staff & membership consultants
* Create an environment where every member feels welcomed, supported and motivated
* Drive membership growth, retention and community engagement
* Manage budgets, targets, KPIs, and operational standards
* Keep the gym safe, compliant, and running like clockwork
* Work alongside Area Manager to deliver improvement plans
* Set the tone, culture and energy every single day
About You
You’ll likely have:
* Experience managing a gym, leisure, retail, or hospitality operation
* Proven leadership of medium–large teams (including supervisors or managers)
* Strong commercial mindset with financial planning experience
* A passion for fitness and customer experience
* Great communication and people-development skills
* Confidence making decisions and owning outcomes
