Job Description
Experienced Building Surveyor required to join a well established private practice based in Birmingham. The successful candidate will join a highly experienced team of Chartered Building Surveyors able to mentor and support your training. This firm offers an extremely varied range of Building Surveying services acting for owners, occupiers and investors and working across the full property lifecycle.
We are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their team. You must hold a degree in Building Surveying from a RICS accredited degree course as well as some industry experience gained as a Building Surveyor, ideally from a private practice or consultancy background. If currently working towards your APC this firm is well placed to provide the relevant support and a good range of project and professional work in support of this goal.
They also offer a friendly and supportive team environment and operate out of a great office space in Birmingham. Projects are largely local although there is necessarily some travel to site with the role. You must have a full UK driving license and already be based within commuting distance of Birmingham city centre.
Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive Building Surveying services for owners, occupiers and investors
* Mentor and support less experienced team members
* Manage projects across the full property lifecycle
* Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure quality and timeliness
* Travel to site as required
Qualifications
* Degree in Building Surveying from a RICS-accredited course
* Industry experience as a Building Surveyor (private practice/consultancy preferred)
* APC progressed or in progress with firm support
* Full UK driving license
* Based within commuting distance of Birmingham city centre
