Salary: £44,000 - 84,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a successful track record as a Solution Architect or in a similar role within major technology transformations, ideally in a complex eCommerce or retail environment. We need proven experience from selection through to implementation of ERP systems, with in-depth knowledge of IFS Cloud and ideally one other major platform such as SAP, Oracle, Aptean, Epicor, Infor, or Microsoft Dynamics. We need experience designing and implementing bespoke in-house integration layers, with practical knowledge of integration and middleware to ensure seamless interoperability between bespoke and commercial off-the-shelf solutions. We need expertise in cloud architectures such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus microservices, APIs, and integration patterns. We need deep understanding of data architecture, data modelling, data lakes, and ETL processes. We need thorough understanding of data security, governance, compliance, including GDPR and CCPA, and best practices for enterprise data management. We need experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect are a plus. Scrum or Agile expertise is advantageous. Experience in food and drink, retail, logistics, or B2C environments would be valuable. We need strong business alignment skills, with the ability to align technology solutions with strategic objectives and guide teams through change. We need inspiring leadership skills and the ability to unite teams, promote collaboration, and support shared purpose. We need change management capability, including the ability to facilitate smooth transitions and help teams adopt new systems and processes. We need clear communication skills, including confidence engaging with Board-level stakeholders and translating complex concepts into actionable insights.
