An exciting opportunity has arisen for permanent, full-time Band 5 staff nurses within the acute ward of Campbeltown Community Hospital.
The ward has 15 beds and cares for acute admissions, with medical input provided by GPs.
The Band 5 staff nurse role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based, person-centred care.
You must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay well-organised while prioritising tasks efficiently.
This is an opportunity to become part of a team responsive to the needs of the population and dedicated to providing the best possible care to the people of Kintyre.
There will be opportunities to develop your skills and experience in areas such as unscheduled care, advanced assessment, and palliative care.
Kintyre offers excellent opportunities for work/life balance, outdoor pursuits, and great cycling and surfing conditions. The islands of Islay, Gigha, Arran, and Jura are easily accessible.
These posts are for nurses due to complete their nursing studies and be assigned a PIN in 2025. Opportunities also exist in community nursing and inpatient services.
A driving licence is required for community posts.
