Overview
We're seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to manage day-to-day facilities operations at a prestigious mixed-use development in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-employed facilities professional to work with a leading security company on an exciting commercial project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate waste management and collection services
* Manage loading bay operations and delivery scheduling
* Oversee cleaning contractor performance and schedules
* Liaise with multiple commercial tenants on facilities matters
* Maintain high standards of building presentation and operations
* Provide regular reporting on facilities performance
Requirements
* Proven experience in management or supervisory roles within a facility or maintenance environment.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
* Strong tenant liaison and customer service skills
* 3+ years facilities management experience in commercial properties
* Experience coordinating contractors and service providers
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
* Professional appearance and manner
Desirable Experience:
* Mixed-use or retail development experience
* Knowledge of health & safety regulations
* Experience with building management systems
* Previous self-employed/contractor experience
Contract Details
Self-Employed Arrangement:
* Day Rate: £150-£170 per day
* Hours: Flexible around core requirements (typically 8 hours/day, 5 days/week)
* Duration: Initial 3-month contract with excellent prospects for extension
* Equipment: The Company provides necessary tools and systems access
