We are recruiting a motivated and caring Trainee TA to join a specialist SEN school in Salisbury. This Trainee TA role is perfect for individuals looking to begin a career in education and special educational needs, with no previous SEN experience required.
As a Trainee TA, you will receive full training and ongoing support while working alongside experienced teachers and support staff. This role offers a long-term opportunity to develop practical skills while making a real difference to pupils who need patience, understanding, and consistency.
The school supports children and young people with autism, learning difficulties, communication needs, sensory differences, and SEMH needs. As a Trainee TA, you will help pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to engage with learning.

About the Trainee TA Role:
8. Full-time, long-term Trainee TA position in Salisbury
9. Supporting pupils with a wide range of SEN needs
10. Providing 1:1 support, small group interventions, and classroom assistance
11. Helping pupils with communication, emotional regulation, routines, and learning
12. Receiving structured training, mentoring, and guidance
13. Working closely with teaching and pastoral teams to support pupil progress
