Job Description
3. Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
5. Prepare and process payment runs.
6. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
7. Assist with month-end processes and reporting requirements.
8. Respond to supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
9. Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to support financial processes.
10. Contribute to improving processes within the purchase ledger function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
11. Previous experience in a purchase ledger or similar role.
12. A good understanding of basic accounting principles.
13. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
15. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
