The Role
You’ll manage a varied criminal defence caseload, with a strong focus on:
1. Dangerous Dogs Act cases, including prohibited breeds and dogs dangerously out of control.
2. Representation at police stations, Magistrates’ Courts, and Crown Court.
3. Providing high-quality advice and advocacy in complex, sensitive matters.
4. Working collaboratively with colleagues while also managing your own files independently.
About You
5. Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) – ideally with 2+ years PQE in criminal law (negotiable depending on experience).
6. Experience or strong interest in Dangerous Dog legislation and animal-related criminal defence work.
7. Confident advocate with excellent case management and client care skills.
8. Organised, proactive, and able to work well under pressure.
9. Excellent IT, communication, and problem-solving skills.
