Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic childcare professional ready to make a real difference in little lives? We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Room Leader based in the Pre-school room to become part of our warm and welcoming team at The Hammersmith Day Nursery.
Salary £30,056 Per Annum - 40 hours all year round
Hammersmith Day Nursery & Preschool is a lovely setting located just off Richford Street, down the driveway of Richford Gate, and conveniently situated seconds away from Hammersmith Grove.

Room Leader Responsibilities:
\t
* Create engaging, age-appropriate learning environments and experiences.
\t
* Support children’s physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
\t
* Help staff maintain high-quality learning journals via EyLog.
\t
* Lead by example with fairness and consistency.
\t
* Strengthen the key person approach and identify staff training needs.
\t
* Keep accurate records using EyMan and other systems.
\t
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and visitors.
\t
* Comply with EYFS statutory requirements.
Requirements:
\t
* Level 3 Childcare qualification (Essential).
\t
* 1+ year experience in Early Years (Essential).
\t
* 6+ months in a senior role (Desirable).
\t
* Good knowledge of Ofsted standards (Desirable).
\t
* Strong understanding of EYFS framework (Essential).
\t
* Fluent English (Essential).
