Job Overview
Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System (ICS) Digital Inclusion Workstream is working to improve digital health inclusion for the local population and workforce by embedding Digital Inclusion Co‑ordinators within Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and local organisations.
The Digital Inclusion Co‑ordinator for South Notts PBP will provide proactive digital skills support to staff and members of the public within South Notts PBP diverse communities, supporting services to reduce digital health inequalities and increase the uptake of digital services.
The postholder will be based with South Notts PBP but will also be a pivotal member of a wider IC’s digital inclusion team, delivering innovative support activities through outreach work, promoting the benefits of digital healthcare tools and acting as first point of contact for digital services support.
They will ensure the provision of information as required, for stakeholders both internal and external.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
* Co‑ordinate and deliver digital inclusion support activities at planning, development and delivery stages to accelerate and maximise digital inclusion across South Notts PBP services and communities.
* Build and maintain networks through engagement with practice teams and the wider community, utilising influencing and communication skills to educate others on the benefits of digital services, whilst recognising exclusion barriers and challenges.
* Upskill and improve confidence in using digital services through tailored support and training of members of the public and staff, and coordinate training opportunities for South Notts PBP staff and local third‑sector organisations.
* Use strong communication skills to deliver presentations to a wide range of audiences.
* Contribute to the promotion of digital health services via NHS App and other integrated services for improved management of health, care and wellbeing.
* Work with local colleagues to identify key cohorts to target activity, reducing barriers to digital inclusion for those experiencing greatest health inequalities.
* Monitor progress against agreed objectives and targets, report outcomes, and evaluate own work and impact, using information to develop services as appropriate.
* Develop communication materials for newsletters, social media posts and practice websites, showcasing benefits of digital healthcare services.
* Support South Notts PBP in presenting clear, updated information on relevant websites about digital health services.
* Complete mandatory training and act in accordance with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
* Work closely with other staff on wider digital transformation projects aligned to South Notts PBP/ICS priorities.
Key Requirements
* Experience of working as part of a team.
* Ability to prioritise a diverse workload and deliver to deadlines.
* Problem‑solving skills in an administrative setting.
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent level.
