The vacancy We're looking for a proactive and highly organised business support coordinator to join our new homes directorate, supporting the regional directors and playing a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our service areas. You'll be a vital part of a dynamic team, acting as a central contact point and providing outstanding support that enables our leaders to work efficiently and effectively. This is a busy, varied role where no two days are the same. You'll manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings, arrange travel and accommodation, and provide essential support for regional board meetings - from agenda preparation through to minute-taking and follow-up actions. You'll need to be quick-thinking and confident in using your initiative, especially when prioritising multiple, often time-sensitive requests. You'll also keep the wider team informed and engaged by sharing key updates and helping to coordinate colleague engagement and operational planning across the directorate. To thrive in this role, you'll bring experience from a similar senior administrative or personal assistant position, where you've worked closely with senior leaders and successfully juggled competing demands. You'll be highly skilled in Microsoft Office and Teams, with exceptional organisational and communication skills that allow you to build strong working relationships and act as the 'eyes and ears' within the team. While experience in the housing sector is advantageous, it is not essential. This role is permanent and full time. You can be based from any of our main offices in Chipping Sodbury, Tewkesbury or Wolverhampton with regular travel to our Tewkesbury office to support with meetings. The role requires a basic DBS check. You will be: Discreet and professional when handling sensitive information Flexible, with a willingness to get involved wherever needed Proactive, with a hands-on approach to solving problems Detail-oriented and highly organised Confident working in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment Motivated to grow and develop your career within a supportive team The closing date is 25 June with interviews taking place 7 July. If you're ready to take on a central and rewarding role that makes a real difference across a regional leadership team, we'd love to hear from you. Please be aware that this vacancy may close early if we receive a high number of applications. To avoid missing out, we recommend submitting your application as soon as possible.
