If you are looking for a long term career with lots of development and progression within Accounting and Finance, please read on What You'll Be Doing: You'll be the backbone of our sales ledger, ensuring impeccable financial integrity and cash flow. Your key responsibilities include: End-to-end Sales Ledger management and daily reconciliation across PMS and Sage 200. Ensuring daily posting of receipts and payments, meticulously resolving any unallocated items. Performing weekly and month-end bank reconciliations with high accuracy. Collaborating closely with internal Finance Teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain clean debtor balances. Importing and fully reconciling revenue files, ensuring data matches management accounts. Producing and distributing debtors reports, actively following up on outstanding invoices. Managing the client refunds mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate processing (preventing errors!). Adhering strictly to month-end closing timetables and supporting Purchase Ledger. Continuously identifying and resolving ledger discrepancies to keep records pristine. What We're Looking For: Proven, hands-on experience in a Sales Ledger/Accounts Receivable role, ideally within a group structure. Degree educated or AAT Level 3/4 qualified. Strong practical experience with Sage 200 is essential; PMS experience is a significant plus. Exceptional attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across departments. Highly organised and capable of managing a busy workload to meet critical deadlines.
