We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Housing Maintenance Team as a Stores and Operational Support Operative. Your role You will provide a building maintenance support function in regard to ordering, managing and monitoring the distribution, storage, and allocation of plant, equipment and materials. The management and monitoring of operational waste facilities, support for our operational team such as site deliveries and the regular inspection of vehicle stock levels. What you will need To take up this role, you will have: at least two years’ experience in a building maintenance environment along with previous experience of stock taking and managing stock. the ability to work along and unsupervised for long periods and the ability to form good working relationships with other colleagues and customers. a current forklift truck licence and be able to promote and adhere to workplace values of our organisation.
