Flourish Education are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream 2-form entry primary school in Hay-on-Wye. The school is rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED, and aims to promote a nurturing and positive learning environment. The school are looking to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis, to support a Year 2 child who has recently been diagnosed with autism. The SEN Teaching Assistant would need to have previous experience of working with children with SEN, and be committed to a long term position until the end of the academic year to ensure consistency for the child. The ideal candidate will have a kind and nurturing approach. There may be the possibility for this to become a permanent position for the right candidate. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is to start immediately, and will continue to the end of academic year.
