Job Title: Stock / Warehouse Operative NIGHTS Location: Outskirts of Canterbury Salary: £13.76 starting, increasing to £15.42 once competent at Level 3 requirements Hours: 7pm - 4am, 5 nights out of 7 (flexibility to stay later may be required during peak season) Our Client: Is a well-established fresh produce company located on the outskirts of Canterbury. Specialising in the supply of fresh produce to major retailers across the UK. Role Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate stock levels, supporting stock movements and ensuring a smooth operation. Benefits: 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) Free parking Overtime paid at 25% An additional £2 per hour once Level 3 competent Progression opportunities Company pensionKey responsibilities within your new role would be to: Receive, check and store incoming goods accurately Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts Ensure all stock is correctly labelled and stored safely Assist with order picking and packing when required Update stock systems and maintain accurate records Investigate and report any stock discrepancies Ensure stock is rotated correctlyExperience and skills required for this position: Previous experience in a stock control or warehouse environment Previous experience of working with fresh produce would be ideal but not essential Good numerical and literacy skills Basic IT skills and experience using stock management systems (preferred) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Be able to lift and move stock safely A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standardsNext steps: If this sounds like the ideal position for you and you have the experience outlined above, then please apply and you will be contacted by a member of our team if your CV matches our requirements.
