Quality Engineer\nLocation Exeter\nSalary Dependant on experience \n\nWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Quality Engineer / Quality & Compliance Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer to support and strengthen our client's commitment to excellence in quality management. This role is in Exeter\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a quality-driven professional to join a team that designs, tests, and manufactures cutting-edge products used in some of the most demanding environments around the world.\nKey Responsibilities of Quality Engineer / Quality & Compliance Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer\n* Conduct internal audits to confirm compliance and drive continuous improvement.\n* Collaborate across all areas of the business to identify and implement quality improvements.\n* Lead efforts to ensure product compliance with global regulatory requirements, staying ahead of upcoming changes.\n* Investigate and manage customer RMAs and supplier non-conformances.\n* Carry out hands-on product testing, including design of experiments and verification testing throughout product development and production stages.\n* Participate in risk assessments to proactively address potential product issues.\n* Maintain and oversee the Workshop and Test Facilities, managing testing schedules and applying 5S practices.\nKey Requirements of Quality Engineer / Quality & Compliance Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer\n* Background in engineering or manufacturing is essential.\n* HNC Level 4 or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.\n* Strong understanding of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.\n* Industry experience in a similar role.\n* Confident, clear communicator - both written and verbal.\n* Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects.\n* Internal auditing experience.\n* Familiarity with 5S/6S, RCCA, and problem-solving methodologies.\n* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.\n* Experience with PPAP is beneficial.\n* Knowledge of global product compliance standards is advantageous.\n* This role is based full time in the office in Exeter
