You are invited to apply for a part‑time dietitian position in Southend University Hospital, working alongside a Band 5 dietitian and supported by our senior dietitian team to deliver dietetic services to inpatient wards, outpatient general clinics and staff training. You will also assist the outpatient oncology service, enhancing your clinical and counselling skills.
Main duties
* Manage a specific caseload of outpatients and inpatients.
* Provide nutrition training to ward staff and patients.
* Plan and manage workload and time in relation to clinical priority.
Qualifications
* HCPC registration.
Knowledge and experience
* Completed student training period or assimilation into UK practice.
* Ability to promote the role of nutrition in clinical and health‑promotion settings.
* Experience in an NHS setting.
* Experience of working as a dietitian or dietetic assistant.

Remuneration
£32,073 per year (pro rata for part time).
