Role Overview
As a Teacher of Design and Technology, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical lessons that challenge and motivate students. You’ll work alongside a supportive team to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes both academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities of Design and Technology (DT) Teacher
* Plan and deliver differentiated and inspiring DT lessons.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Lead or support extracurricular activities related to design and technology.
* Ensure health and safety standards are upheld in all practical sessions.
* Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Design and Technology.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for motivating and inspiring students.
* Ability to provide a 10-year career history with references covering the last two years.
