Blueprint Subsea is a small, dynamic, technology company, designing and manufacturing a range of specialist acoustic subsea sensors, sold internationally into offshore, search-and-rescue and military markets. To add to our growing team, we are seeking to recruit a full time “Stores Assistant” based at our facility at Haverthwaite, near Ulverston. As Stores Assistant, you will join a dedicated team within the Supply Chain department, constantly striving to improve efficiency and service levels in the supply of components into the production department and onto customers globally. The role will include a full range of Stores tasks including inbound and outbound inventory control. The successful candidate should: Be highly motivated to work within small team. Be computer literate especially with the Microsoft Office suite of programmes. Be capable of working independently with good resource and time management skills. Be able to use initiative to prioritise and work efficiently. Experience of working within a stores environment and the use of an ERP system is not mandatory but is advantageous. You will be responsible for: Daily organisation of the stores area, to ensure a clean, well laid out, efficient operating area. Checking in of all incoming parts/materials. This involves, unpacking, checking quantities and use of a database/ERP system. Preparation of some goods for Quality Inspection. Disposal/Recycling of all packaging materials. Kitting parts for production. Assisting in final packing of systems for dispatch. General Stores administration (e.g. printing labels, etc) Annual stock takes. Packing customer orders.
