Our onboarding process starts with a friendly conversation. All our engineers must have their own insurance and keep their equipment calibrated at least once a year. In return, we provide an engineer handbook, contract for services and branded clothing, supply labels and technical support.

Job Overview
JR PAT Testing is an expanding PAT and Compliance Company currently looking for engineers to join our team in Canons Park. We offer flexible self‑employed positions allowing part‑time or full‑time work.
Responsibilities
* Travel to a variety of sites (hospitals, retail outlets, offices) to conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
* Use testing instruments to check electrical items such as microwaves, kettles, and computers for safety and compliance.
* Record findings in a dedicated PAT test report book or electronic system and provide employers with copies.
* Inform site users of results and explain when appliances are unfit for use.
* Complete completion certificates, checklists and any required paperwork.
* Maintain and keep all testing equipment in good working order and compliant with relevant regulations.
Qualifications
* City & Guilds 2377 PAT qualification or equivalent.
* Self‑employed with own insurance and equipment calibrated at least annually.
* Reliable, honest, and possess a ‘can‑do’ attitude.
* Experience or competence in line with C&G standards.
