Finance Manager - Scaling Business - Greater Belfast
VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with an innovative scaling business based in Greater Belfast to recruit a commercially astute hands on Finance Manager to take on a pivotal role within the business and look after the day to day finances.

The Role
* Oversee the transactional finance function for the business
* Ensure efficient working capital and cash management
* Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in line with month end process and reporting deadlines
* Maintain an effective credit control function
* Optimise efficiencies and functionality of new accounting system (Sage Intacct)
* Assist FD in developing reporting and insights gained from Sage Intacct and Power BI systems
* Ensure timely and accurate completion of all tax related returns and payments
* Preparation of audit files for the external auditors and liaising with the auditors for the annual audit
* Maintain a framework and culture of financial control
* Other related activities as required
The Person
* Recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA etc).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong IT and Excel skills are required.
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload and meet deadlines * Excellent attention to detail.
