Duties
* Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
* Manage inventory using a warehouse management system to track stock levels and locations.
* Handle materials with care, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
* Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of products.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to build and assemble products as needed.
* Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues promptly.
Skills
* Proficiency in operating forklifts is essential for this role.
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient inventory tracking.
* Strong skills in materials handling, including loading and unloading procedures.
* Mechanical knowledge to assist with basic maintenance of equipment.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
* Experience in shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse setting is advantageous.
