Finance Manager – Manufacturing
Location: Coventry
Salary: £70,000 – £75,000 DOE + Bonus + Benefits
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday

About the Company:
We are proud to be supporting a well -established and growing manufacturing business based in Coventry known for their high-quality products and strong customer base across the UK and internationally. We are seeking a commercially focused and hands-on Finance Manager to join their leadership team and play a key role in driving financial performance and operational efficiency.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will oversee the full finance function and provide strategic insight and financial control across the business. This is a pivotal role suited to a proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the finance function, including management of a small team
Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts and board reports
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and treasury functions
Provide financial analysis to support operational and commercial decision-making
Oversee stock control, product costing, and manufacturing variance analysis
Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements, liaising with external auditors
Drive process improvements, systems development, and internal controls
Act as a finance business partner across departments to support growth
Candidate Profile:
Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or QBE with strong manufacturing experience
Previous experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant in a manufacturing/engineering environment
Sound knowledge of cost accounting, stock, and operational finance
Strong analytical skills with commercial awareness
Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (e.g., SAP, Sage, or similar)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive, hands-on leader with a continuous improvement mindset
