Mechanical Fitter (Pipe Fitter / Welder)
Overall job description
To support the Mechanical Engineer and maintenance teams with welding and fitting with metal equipment around the site
Main duties and responsibilities
* Completed welding apprenticeship
* Repairing cracked or broken metal work
* Following safety protocols in the workplace
* Maintaining an orderly stock room
* Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance
* Following written instructions and keeping records
* Adhering to health and safety regulations
* Completing physical tasks quickly and accurately
Quaifications and Experience
* Completed Welder Apprenticeship
* At least 5 years working experience in Manufacturing

* Understanding Health and Safety protocols
* Able to make considered decisions and communicate to colleagues
Measure of Success
* Able to complete tasks in an efficient way - which means the manager knows there is no dawdling, but that you are working to ensure the job is done correctly
* Maintaining a clean and orderly working environment, especially the stock room

Hours and Renumeration
* 12 Hour Shifts
* 5 days a week
* Paid overtime
* Paid hourly rate
* Shift Rota from Monday to Sunday
